GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's soccer team was back in action on Wednesday evening at Gwynedd Mercy in a pivotal Atlantic East Conference battle. After a scoreless first half,
Kelli Dombroski lifted the Macs to the victory with a goal early in the second half of play in the 1-0 win.
How it Happened:
- In the 52nd minute, Dombroski took an assist from Riley Rudd and made the most of it as she scored what would prove to be that game-winning goal in the 1-0 victory.
- Brooke Shissler worked hard in goal making two big saves to keep the Griffins off the scoreboard throughout the contest. After this shutout victory, Shissler is now 2-1-1 in Atlantic East games allowing just two goals over the course of these four contests. Maddy Terry played the final nine minutes in relief of Shissler and she did not need to make a save over the course of these nine minutes.

- Immaculata outshot Gwynedd Mercy by a wide 11-2 margin including 9-2 in terms of shots on goal.
- The two sides ended the contest even at 1-1 in corner kicks.
