DALLAS, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's volleyball squad was back in action on the road on Saturday afternoon opposite Misericordia in the first match of the Misericordia tri-match. In search of a victory to open its two-match afternoon, Immaculata dropped its opener to Misericordia by a final of 3-0.
How it Happened:
- In the first set, Misericordia opened the match with a strong run to claim the first set by a final of 25-10.
- The second and third sets saw Immaculata battle throughout as the two teams traded runs throughout the sets but unfortunately it was late runs by Misericordia in each set that enabled the Cougars to earn 25-21 victories in both the second and third sets.
Inside the Box Score:
- Jade Rindock ended the contest with a team-high five kills while also registering a block in the setback.
- Megan Daugherty led the way in assists with 12 helpers on the afternoon while Sara Desmond ended the match with a team-high seven digs in the setback.
