IMMACULATA, Pa.- The men's basketball teams blew open a tie game at the half on Monday night against Marywood (12-6, 4-1) as they raced past the visitors by outscoring them, 46-25, after the break and finishing off a 76-55 win. The Mighty Macs (8-10, 3-3) were excellent from three point range, knocking down 12-of-25 attempts.

Mike Piekarski was outstanding with 29 points and 12 rebounds while sophomore
Brandon McCullough netted 16.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The game was tight early on with the Pacers holding a 13-11 lead, but IU then went on a 9-0 run to take a seven point lead. Piekarski supplied all nine points to propel the spurt and put IU up, 20-13
-That lead was the largest of the half for IU, but Marywood then tied it up heading to the half at 30-30
-The game was still close with 14:17 to go with IU holding a 40-39 lead. Over the next six minutes, the Mighty Macs buried Marywood, going on a 24-7 run to take an insurmountable lead. In the second half, the Mighty Macs went 9-for-15 from beyond the arc to take a 64-46 lead. In the spurt, senior
