RADNOR, Pa.- Looking to build off a big road win at Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday, the Mighty Macs (5-13, 2-3) travelled to Cabrini (9-7) on Wednesday night, but the Cavaliers raced out to a 31-10 advantage through the first quarter and the Macs were unable to recover in an 86-56 road loss.

Amber Ballinger led the way with 15 while sophomores
Theresa Kearney (14 points), and
Natalie Ayoub (13 points) also reached double figures.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Mighty Macs got the first lead of the game on a layup by Ayoub, but that would be their only one of the game as Cabrini went on a 17-4 spurt over the next five minutes to make it 17-6
-IU then struggled the rest of the quarter as Kearney and Ballinger each hit a pair of free throws while Cabrini scored 14 points to take a big 31-10 advantage to the second quarter
-The Mighty Macs righted the ship in the second quarter, as IU cut into the deficit a little on a layup by Ayoub midway through the second quarter to make it 37-19
-The two teams were even in the second at 15-15 as the Cavaliers held a 46-25 lead at the break
-The Mighty Macs were unable to make any in roads into the Cabrini lead in the second half as Kearney led the way with seven after halftime and sophomore
Brielle Rigo had five points and five boards
