Macs Struggle Offensively Against Molloy

IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata University field hockey team struggled to take advantage of its offensive opportunities Saturday afternoon against Molloy, dropping the non-conference matchup 6-0. The Macs had 17 shots in the effort but were unable to convert, as the Lions built an insurmountable lead in the latter parts of the second half.

Jackie Victor and Randie Kuhar each made five saves in the effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Molloy took an early advantage with the game's first goal just ten minutes in, and tacked on two more in the next five minutes to extend the lead to three.
-The Mighty Macs came out of the half determined to put a dent in the deficit, but were unable to find the back of the net despite eight second half penalty corners.
-The Lions put the game away in the final 15 minutes of the contest with three more tallies, taking the matchup by a 6-0 final.
