READING, Pa.- The Mighty Mac field hockey team (1-8) travelled to Albright (3-4) on Thursday afternoon and were unable to keep pace with the Lions, who scored three goals in each half and the Macs managed just one in each period in a 6-2 loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Albright wasted no time taking control of the first half, as they netted one in the seventh minute to take the early lead
-The Lions added goals in the 16
th and 17
th minutes to take a commanding 3-0 lead
-Lozier got the Mighty Macs back into the game with a penalty stroke goal in the 23
rd minute to cut the deficit to 3-1, which is where it would remain going into the half
-The Mighty Macs battled and stayed in the game for the early part of the first half, but over a nine-minute span, the Lions added three goals to take a 6-1 lead with under 18 minutes remaining
-In the 57
th minute, Burkholder wrapped up the scoring with a deflection off a pass from freshman
Macy Green on a penalty corner for her second goal of the season
