IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team (1-5) hosted Widener (3-2) on Thursday night at Draper Walsh Stadium, and the Macs were unable to get anything going as they fell, 3-0, to the Pride.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Mighty Mac defense was up to the challenge early as they and goalie
Randie Kuhar stood tall against the Pride attack
-Widener broke through with two goals a minute apart in the 22
nd and 23
rd minutes to take a 2-0 lead to the locker room
-The Pride tacked one more on in the 52
nd minute despite a defensive save from
Makenze Sassaman and the Macs trailed 3-0
-The best chance for IU came on a penalty corner when junior
Colleen Bradley ripped shot at the cage that junior
Layne Kennedy deflected, but the keeper made the stop
