-The teams then alternated two goals apiece to get to 4-3 at the end of the first. Reardon got his first of the day from Krewson on an EMO, and with 12 seconds remaining, Fisher got a feed from Shultis to make it a one-goal game

-The third quarter was very even as the Pacers extended the lead to 10-5, but the Macs had Shultis and Reardon combining for three goals in the quarter to make it an 11-8 game
-Reardon scored, followed by one from Shultis to make it 11-7, and then Fisher picked up a loose ball behind the net with two seconds to go and fed it to Reardon who scored with 1.4 seconds remaining in the third
-In the fourth, Marywood picked up an insurance tally with 10:50 remaining to make it 12-8, but that would be their final goal of the day
-Krewson scored from Reardon with 9:10 remaining, and Reardon then scored his sixth of the day from Shultis with 6:37 left to make it 12-10
-Long then gave an outstanding individual effort, stealing the ball in the defensive zone, going up the field and feeding Shultis who buried it to cut the deficit to one with 4:59 remaining
