MUHLENBERG, Pa.- The Immaculata men's lacrosse team (0-1) opened their 2018 season under new head coach
Niko Amato, but they were unable to get their offense going in a 15-3 defeat at Muhlenberg (1-0).

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Muhlenberg netted the first two goals of the season to take the early lead, but the Macs got on the board on a Shultis tally from Johnson to make it 2-1
-Muhlenberg extended their lead to 3-1 at the end of the first quarter
-The Mules took a decisive lead in the second quarter as they scored five consecutive goals while keeping the Macs off the board and took an 8-1 lead into the locker room
-After Muhlenberg made it 9-1 five minutes into the third, the Macs got back on the board on the first goal of Long's career with 2:30 left in the third, but the Mules got another before the end of the period to make it 10-2 through three
-Johnson helped the Macs convert on a man-up opportunity in the fourth on an assist from Fisher, but the Macs were unable to muster more offense in the loss
