IMMACULATA, Pa.- The first Atlantic East All-Conference awards have been announced for cross country, and two Mighty Mac women's runners were named Second Team All-Atlantic East as senior Mackenzie Greene and junior Celsey Golato each earned the distinction.
 
Greene was named Second Team All-Atlantic East with a top-10 finish at the Atlantic East Championships last weekend that helped IU placed third in the team event.  Her ninth place finish in the 6K race hosted by Marywood was done in 28:45.70.  Her previous best finish in the conference championship was in 19^th in both 2015 and 2016.
 
Golato finished slightly behind Greene in 11^th place to earn the Second Team All-Atlantic East distinction.  She ran a 28:59.40 in the 6K event.  This was her third conference championship race, and her previous best finish was in 20^th place.
 
The team will compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals this weekend to wrap up their fall season.
