SCRANTON, Pa.- In their first ever Atlantic East contest, the Immaculata women's soccer team (3-7, 0-1 Atlantic East) played a tight competitive game at Marywood (5-6, 2-0 Atlantic East) on Saturday afternoon, but a second half goal by the Pacers was the difference in a 1-0 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The game was tight early with each team developing some opportunities in the early going, but neither team was able to break through in a scoreless first half
-In the second half, the Pacers finally broke through in the 62
nd minute as they had a shot from just inside the box and scored for the 1-0 lead
-The Mighty Macs then forced the issue as they tried to net the equalizer, but they were unable to do so in a narrow defeat
