IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Mighty Mac field hockey team (1-14) took their second consecutive Atlantic East Conference loss as they dropped a 4-0 decision to Gwynedd Mercy (6-4, 1-0) on Saturday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Griffins were in control for much of the first half, pushing the pace and playing in the Mighty Mac end for most of the period, but the IU defense did a great job of holding early on
-The Griffins got on the board midway through the period on a penalty corner
-With the score still 1-0 and time winding down in the first half, the Mighty Macs had a penalty corner as sophomore
Shannon Lozier blasted a shot, but the keeper kicked it away in IU's best chance of the day
-Gwynedd Mercy continued the pressure in the second half as they scored three goals in an eight minute span and held a 4-0 lead with just over 12 minutes to go in the game

Jackie Victor made 12 saves in just over 61 minutes of action
