IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Mighty Mac women's tennis team improved to 2-1 on the season as they claimed their home opener over Penn State-Abington on Friday afternoon, 8-1.

DOUBLES RESULTS
-At first doubles, sophomores Caleigh Masterman and Morgan Jacob won 8-3, while sophomore Liz Lipscomb and freshman Jessica Dougherty cruised at third doubles, 8-0.
-In second doubles, seniors Caitlin Savage and Susan Callahan staged a big comeback for an 9-7 win

SINGLES RESULTS
-The Mighty Macs had five straight sets victories with Lipscomb and five and Dougherty at six, both winning 6-1, 6-1
-At first, Masterman cruised 6-2, 6-0 and Savage did the save at the four spot, 6-1, 6-0
-Jacob made it a two win day with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at third singles
