IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata University women's tennis team was unable to overcome an early deficit in the doubles matches against Stockton Wednesday afternoon, dropping its fall finale to the Ospreys, 6-3.
Caleigh Masterman and
Morgan Jacob posted strong singles victories in the effort to end their fall seasons on a high note heading into the five-month layoff.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Susan Callahan and
Caitlin Savage were the lone doubles pairing to pick up a win, defeating their counterpart at the second position, 8-5.
-Both the first and third Mighty Mac doubles teams fell by 8-4 decisions.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Masterman continued her strong start to the fall with a straight-set victory at first singles (6-3, 6-2).
-Jacob was equally successful at third singles, defeating her opponent 6-3, 6-1.

Caitlin Savage narrowly picked up the win at fourth singles, but fell in the tiebreaker, 10-7, after taking the first set 6-4 but dropping the second.
UP NEXT
Immaculata (2-2) opens the spring season on March 13 against Goucher.
