IU Women Finish In Third At First Atlantic East Championship

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa.- The first ever Atlantic East Conference Cross Country Championships took place on a cold and rainy course at Lakeland High School on Saturday, and the Mighty Mac women placed third out of the seven squads with a place total of 89.
 
The women ran an 6K race and Marywood emerged as the first Atlantic East Conference champion.
 
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
-Senior Mackenzie Greene had a great race, finishing inside the top-10 at ninth with a time of 28:45.70 to lead the Mighty Macs
-Junior Celsey Golato was close behind in 11th with a 28:59.40 and junior Kara Sitch was the third Mighty Mac inside the top-20 in 16th place with a time of 29:34.50
-Freshman Katherine Graziano finished in 21st with a 30:34.00 and sophomore Amanda Hyde was the final countable finish in 32nd with a time of 34:18.60
-Freshmen Alli Harmon (33rd, 34:41.20) and Taylor Hess (39th, 43:40.40) also competed in the race
 
UP NEXT
The Mighty Macs will close their 2018 season with the NCAA Regionals on Saturday, November 10th.
