IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata women's basketball team was unable to keep a sharp-shooting Marywood squad in check Saturday afternoon, falling to the visiting Pacers 68-49 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play Saturday afternoon.
Theresa Kearney recorded a double-double for the Macs in the effort, providing 15 points and ten rebounds to lead Immaculata.
With the loss, the Macs fall to 2-5 in CSAC play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Macs took an early advantage on
Amber Ballinger's three-ball in the opening minute, but the Pacers responded quickly to stretch their lead to double figures before the end of the opening quarter.
-IU suffered from shooting just 3-of-25 from the field in the first half, opposite Marywood's 15-of-29 clip.

Theresa Kearney provided a bright spot for the Macs, recording her second double-double of the season in her rookie campaign.

Dia Veneziano put together her third consecutive game in double figures with ten points on the afternoon.

-Marywood took the advantage in field goal percentage with a 26-of-49 (53.1%) clip, opposite the Macs' 12-of-53 (22.6%) mark.
-IU shot only 3-of-17 (17.6%) from three, but made up for it at the charity stripe going 22-of-27 (81.5%).
-The Pacers outrebounded the Macs on the day, 39-34.
