Mighty Macs Drop Final Non-Conference Game, 3-0

IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team (2-3-2) went out of CSAC play for the final time on Saturday afternoon on the road at Alvernia (3-4-1) and dropped a 3-0 decision to the Golden Wolves.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Both halves were played tight, but Alvernia took advantage of a few chances to take the game
-In the first half, the Golden Wolves netted a pair of goals, one in the 13th minute and one in the 24th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the half
-They added a key insurance goal in the 51st minute to get to the final of 3-0
 
BY THE NUMBERS
-The Macs were outshot, 10-7 total, but led 3-2 in corners
-Senior Allie Tracey made six saves in the cage
-Sophomore Erin McCue led the team with three shots, one of them on target
 
UP NEXT
-The Macs will travel to Neumann on Wednesday at 4 p.m. for a CSAC matchup
