GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Fourth-seeded Immaculata field hockey had its 2017 season end in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament semifinals, 9-0, by top-seeded Gwynedd Mercy University Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gwynedd Mercy scored a pair of goals in less than one minute around the six-minute mark for the early 2-0 lead.
- The Griffins scored again 10 minutes into the contest, and then added two more goals less than 20 seconds apart for the 5-0 advantage with 12 minutes remaining before halftime.
- Gwynedd Mercy added two more goals with under five minutes to play in the first half for a 7-0 lead at the break.
- After 25 minutes of scoreless action in the second half, Gwynedd Mercy scored twice during the close minutes for the final 9-0 margin.

Nicole Dominick took the only shot of the game for the Mighty Macs.
- For the Griffins, Melissa Russo scored four goals and had one assist. Brianna O'Connell tallied two goals and two assists.

Randie Kuhar started in goal for the Mighty Macs and played the first half making three saves.
Jackie Victor played the second half and recorded eight stops.
- Gwynedd Mercy had a 26-1 advantage in shots, and led in penalty corners, 8-2.

Immaculata ends the season with a 6-14 overall record. Gwynedd Mercy improved to 16-3, and will host second-seeded Cabrini in the CSAC championship game on Saturday.
