ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Immaculata University's field hockey team won its second-straight Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest to start league play as it defeated Cedar Crest College, 3-1, on Saturday.

The Mighty Macs (4-9, 2-0 CSAC) just a five-minute span during the first and second halves to produce all three of their goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- All the scoring in the first half came in a four-minute span started by Cedar Crest (7-4, 0-2 CSAC) at the 30:26 mark of the contest.
- Immaculata answered to tie the game at 1-1 at the 31:47 mark as freshman
Willa Thompson converted on a penalty stroke. The Mighty Macs scored again with just 1:40 to play before halftime as sophomore
Amanda Miller found the back of the cage for a 2-1 lead at halftime.
- The scoring started for the Mighty Macs just 1:13 into the second half as senior
Megan Donegan converted the pass from freshman
Shannon Lozier into the third goal of the day for Immaculata.

Layne Kennedy led the Mighty Macs with four shots, all on goal, and Thompson took three shots.

Randie Kuhar made 16 saves in the win.
