DOVER, Del.- The Immaculata women's soccer team (0-4) dropped their fourth consecutive game to start the 2016 season as they suffered a 4-0 defeat on the road at Wesley (2-2) on Thursday night.

A pair of goals in the first ten minutes by the Wolverines put the Macs in an early hole and as they were pressing up late in the contest, Wesley added two more to get to the final score.

Carly Quigley was the biggest threat for the Macs offensively, especially off set pieces, as she led the team with six shots and four on goal. Several of her attempts narrowly missed the cage. Senior
Rachel Lamb had three shots on goal in her first action of the season.

Sarah Roselli made five stops in her second consecutive start.

Wesley scored just 40 seconds into the game on a goal by Aleya Cummings, and she netted her second of the contest at the 9:20 mark.

Both teams would be held in check for the next 79 minutes until Wesley added two goals in 24 seconds in the 89
th and 90
th minutes to make it 4-0.

The teams tied at 17-17 in shots, and the Macs took the only two corners of the contest.

IU will have the next six days off before travelling to Albright for a 4:30 p.m. start.
