Field Hockey Falls On The Road At Arcadia, 4-0

GLENSIDE, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team (4-5) took a 4-0 loss on the road at Arcadia University (1-8) on Monday night in the team's final non-conference tune-up before heading to Neumann University for a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Sophomore Jackie Wood led the team with three shots, while she tied with senior Meredith Katona with two shots on goal each.  The Macs totaled nine shots in the game with eight coming in the first half.  Senior Sarah Pasternak played all 70 minutes in the cage and made 16 saves.
 
Arcadia scored less than three minutes into the game, and added two more goals less than a minute apart from each other in the 13th and 14th minutes.
 
The Knights added one more tally less than three minutes from the final horn.
 
The Mighty Macs will head to Neumann on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. for their CSAC opener.
