WILKES-BARRE, Pa.- The IU field hockey team dropped their third consecutive game on Friday night as they fell at King's College (3-3) by a score of 6-1. The Macs (3-3) fell behind 4-0 at the half and were unable to recover.

Megan Donegan scored her first goal of the season and senior
Meredith Katona got her second assist of the year.

Sarah Pasternak played the first half and made eight saves, while senior
Emily Beavers made her first appearance of the year and made one save during the second half.
King's scored 74 seconds in and added goals in the 13

rd minutes to take a 4-0 lead into the locker room.
In the second half, King's added to their lead with goals in the 37
th and 40
th minutes to make it 6-0.
The Macs got their goal in the 67
th minute when Donegan deflected a pass into the cage from Katona to get to the final of 6-1.
IU will go to Wilkes on Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a non-conference matchup.
