SCRANTON, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team (2-4, 1-1 CSAC) went into the Easter break last Wednesday with a 7-2 win over Cabrini in their Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opener, and they hoped to build off that in their first match since at Marywood (2-2, 2-0 CSAC) on Friday afternoon, but the Macs fell to the Pacers, 7-2.

Michael Griffin III had the best day for IU with a win in doubles and singles.

Mark Hueber picked up a 9-8 win in the third doubles position, but the Macs dropped the other two as they trailed 2-1 going to singles.

In singles, the Macs lost in straight sets in the first five spots, but Griffin battled to win in the sixth spot with a 10-6 victory in the tiebreaker. He won the first set 6-4, but fell 5-7 in set two before taking the tiebreaker.

The Mighty Macs will return home tomorrow at 1 p.m. to host Keystone.
