IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata men's and women's tennis completed their third season under head coach
Susan Callahan. Both teams made the Atlantic East Conference postseason, but each squad fell to the eventual champions.
The men's team went 2-15 (1-3 AEC), while the women logged a 6-10 (1-3 AEC) record. The women increased their win total by three wins from last year; the men added one to their previous total. Each side will aim to extend this trend in the 2026-27 season.
THE SCHEDULE
The Mighty Macs began their slate with close games on both sides. Despite the men coming up short, 4-3, in multiple matches, they swept Lancaster Bible 7-0 for their lone win in the fall. The women nearly put up an undefeated fall record, going 4-1 with the one loss being at Ursinus.
To get a tune-up before conference play began in mid-March, Immaculata travelled to Hilton Head, S.C. for three matches. The Mighty Macs faced strong competition, like Franciscan and Penn State Behrend. Both teams opened conference play with Marymount. The men and women earned crucial wins the weekend after Easter, as both defeated Neumann to earn a playoff spot.
In the conference tournament, the men's campaign ended with a loss to Marymount. The women were swept by Pratt.
Even with a few departing seniors for the men and women, Immaculata tennis has already began building for the future.
