RADNOR, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team (2-3, 1-0 CSAC) got their Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) schedule off to a great start with a 7-2 win over Cabrini (0-4, 0-1 CSAC) on Wednesday afternoon prior to the Easter break.

The Mighty Macs claimed two of three doubles matches and then put the match away with five wins in singles.

Juniors
Stephen Smith and
John Binner cruised in second doubles with an 8-2 win, and juniors
Michael Griffin III and
Mark Hueber won 8-4 in the third position.

In singles, the Mighty Macs came away with five straight sets victories. Smith made it two wins on the day with a 7-6, 6-4 victory in the second position and his partner, Binner, did the same with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in the fourth spot. Freshman
Dom Ramsden won the second singles match of his career in the third slot with a 6-2, 6-2 win.

Hueber and Griffin III also made it two victories in the day with wins at the fifth and sixth singles spots, respectively. Hueber came away with a 6-0, 6-1 win and Griffin III won his first singles match of the season with a 6-0, 6-2 victory.

The Macs will be off until Friday, April 1
st when they travel to Marywood.
