IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team (5-8, 1-2 CSAC) dropped a 6-0 decision on the road at Gwynedd Mercy (8-4, 3-0 CSAC) on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
 
The Mighty Macs dropped to 1-2 in CSAC play with the loss.
 
Senior Sarah Pasternak made nine saves while allowing five goals, and senior Emily Beavers made seven saves while allowing the final goal.
 
The Griffins took control of the game with two goals in a 29 second span in the 11^th minute to take a 2-0 lead.  They would add goals in the 14^th and 25^th minutes to take a 4-0 lead at half.
 
They added another goal 56 seconds into the second half, and finished off the scoring in the 69^th minute.
 
The Mighty Macs will go to non-conference play on Tuesday against Delaware Valley on the road at 4 p.m.
