BALTIMORE, Md.- The Mighty Mac women's soccer team (4-7, 4-1 CSAC) claimed their third straight victory on Tuesday afternoon as they earned a tough 2-1 win on the road at Notre Dame (2-7, 1-4 CSAC) to move their CSAC record to 4-1 on the season.

Carly Mirarchi scored in the first half, while sophomore
Carrie Quigley broke a 1-1 tie in the 76
th minute to give the Mighty Macs the lead for good. The two remained tied with a team-high six goals on the season.
The Macs outshot the Gators 19-11, and senior
Allie Tracey made seven saves in the cage to earn her fourth win of the season. IU had 14 corners and held Notre Dame to zero on the afternoon. Freshman
Courtney Stinger led the Macs with five shots off the bench.
The Macs got the scoring started in the first half as Mirarchi scored her sixth of the season in the 12
th minute to put IU in front. The Macs would hold that lead the remainder of the half and held a 9-4 advantage in shots.
The score would hold at 1-0 until the 73
rd minute when the Gators got on the board to tie the game on a goal by Jessie Lindenkohl.
The tie would not last long as Quigley hit a free kick from 40 yards out just over the outstretched hands of the keeper and into the back of the net for the 2-1 IU lead.
The Macs hunkered down defensively and held off the Gators for the one-goal victory.
Immaculata will look to make it four in a row on Saturday when they welcome in Cabrini for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
