CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Mighty Mac field hockey team (5-10) dropped their non-conference finale on the road to DeSales (5-9) on Thursday afternoon by a score of 3-0.  IU will now shift their focus to the final four games of the season, all in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) as they look to make the CSAC postseason for the first time since 2014.
 
Senior Sarah Pasternak made 11 saves in the cage for the Mighty Macs, and senior Brittany Robertson led the team with two shots.  The Macs totaled six shots on the day, three of them on goal, and had eight corners.
 
The Bulldogs opened the scoring 96 seconds into the game and added another tally in the seventh minute to take a 2-0 lead.
 
The score would hold at 2-0 through halftime and DeSales made it 3-0 in the 42^nd minute, which is where the score would finish.
 
The Macs will play their fifth straight road game on Saturday as they travel to Keystone for a noon start.
