OWINGS MILLS, Md.- The Immaculata University field hockey team (0-8) travelled to Stevenson (2-6) on Wednesday night in their final tune-up before the start of Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play, and the Mustangs dealt the Macs a 5-0 defeat.

Junior goalie Sarah Pasternak got the start in goal and made one save, but Stevenson scored goals in the 3rd, 4th, and 13th minutes to take a commanding 3-0 advantage.

Junior goalie Christine McIntyre then came on in relief and did a great job, especially in the remainder of the first half as she kept Stevenson off the board and down 3-0.

In the second half, the Mustangs added goals in the 39th and 49th minutes to put the game away.  McIntyre had eight saves total.

The Mighty Macs will now look forward to CSAC play when they host Keystone on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Draper Walsh Stadium.
