Immaculata Drops Road Contest At Haverford

HAVERFORD, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team fell on the road at Haverford on Tuesday evening by a score of 7-0.
 
Freshman Hilary Burkholder and sophomore Megan Donegan each registered a shot on goal. 
 
Junior Megan Wheeler registered two defensive saves, and sophomore Cayla Williams and senior Meredith Katona each had one defensive save a piece.
 
Goalie Christine McIntyre had 17 saves in the cage for the Mighty Macs (0-5).
 
The Fords (3-2) scored twice in the first half and led 2-0 going into the second half when they scored four goals in less than 10 minutes.  They added another in the 54th minute to get to the 7-0 final.
 
The Macs will be in search of their first win on Thursday when they return to Draper Walsh Stadium to host Goucher at 6 p.m.
