Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa.-Â The Mighty Mac women's soccer team got their 2015 season started with a home non-conference game at Draper Walsh Stadium against Albright on Tuesday afternoon, and after playing a closely contested scoreless game through the first 55 minutes, the Lions (1-0) scored three goals in the final 31 minutes to down Immaculata (0-1), 3-0.

Elizabeth McBride played an outstanding game in the cage for the Macs with 14 saves, including several diving stops to keep IU in the game.
In the first half, McBride made three stops as play was very even early on. Â The Macs produced some offense, especially late in the stanza by freshman
Morgan McDonough and junior
Carly Mirarchi, but the Macs were unable to take the lead and the game went 0-0 to the second half.
In the second half, the Lions took control of the game with goals in the 60th and 71st minute by Natalie Wilson, and they would add one more in the 77th to take the 3-0 victory.
The Mighty Macs will try to bounce back from the opening defeat on Friday afternoon when they travel to Penn State-Abington at 4 p.m.
