Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team (1-16, 1-5 CSAC) earned their first victory of the 2015 campaign in fine fashion with a 6-0 shutout victory over Cedar Crest (2-14, 1-5 CSAC) on Tuesday afternoon in Allentown.

IU was led by two goals apiece from sophomores
Nicole Dominick and
Megan Donegan. Freshman Hilary Bukholder scored the first goal of her career, which turned out to be the game-winner and sophomore
Cayla Williams also netted the first goal of her career for IU in the win.

Junior
Sarah Pasternak (35 minutes), junior
Emily Beavers (22 minutes, five saves), and junior
Christine McIntyre (13 minutes, one save) combined for a shutout for the Mighty Macs in the cage.

For the game, IU had 20 shots with 14 of them being on cage. They held Cedar Crest to just six shots on goal, including zero in the first half.

The game was scoreless for the first 20 minutes despite steady domination from the Mighty Macs. IU finally opened the flood gates in the 21
st minute as Burkholder scored the first goal of her collegiate career off the goalie's pads for a 1-0 IU lead.

The Mighty Mac offense then opened up as Donegan scored exactly two minutes later, and would add her second goal of the game and team-leading fifth of the year in the 31
st minute to give Immaculata a 3-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, it was Dominick's turn to take the game over on the offensive end as she scored goals in the 53
rd and 59
th minutes, her third and fourth of the season, to extend the advantage to 5-0.

Williams would add the first of her career off a penalty corner in the 63
rd minute to get to the 6-0 final.

The Mighty Macs will look to head into the offseason with a two-game winning streak as they close out the season on Thursday afternoon at Notre Dame at 4 p.m.
