Box Score CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Mighty Mac field hockey team (4-7) travelled to DeSales on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference clash, and after a scoreless first half, the two teams combined for seven goals after halftime, but it was the Bulldogs (6-4) netting five to claim the 5-2 victory.

Patsy Murphy scored, her sixth of the season, and freshman
Brooke Robinson scored her third goal in her last two games to account for the Mighty Mac goals. Senior
Ashley O'Donnell got her third assist, and 85
th point of her career to extend her school record in career points. Senior
Lindsay Cras also tallied her second assist of the season in the defeat.

After a scoreless first half, the scoring came fast and furious in the second half with all seven goals being scored in the first 25 minutes.

The Bulldogs scored in the 38
th minute to break the scoreless tie, but Murphy tipped in a pass from Cras just over two minutes later to even the score.

DeSales then put the game away with three straight goals to go up 4-1 with just over 20 minutes remaining in the game. Robinson would stop the Bulldog run after putting in a pass from O'Donnell to make it 4-2.

DeSales added an insurance goal in the 60
th minute to bring a close to the scoring with the final, 5-2.

The Mighty Macs will go back into CSAC play on Saturday with a road trip to Neumann at 1 p.m.
