Mighty Macs Fall At Franklin & Marshall

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team lost 9-0 on Saturday afternoon to Franklin & Marshall in non-conference action.  Freshman goalie Sarah Pasternak made 10 saves in the first half.
 
The Diplomats raced out to a 2-0 lead in the first five minutes and didn't let up in scoring five first half goals.
 
Freshman goalie Christine McIntyre made two saves in the second half of play, but the Diplomats scored two more goals in the first ten minutes of the half to take a commanding advantage on their way to a 9-0 win.
 
Senior Molly Byrne made one defensive save while Lindsay Cras, Tiffany Lockfeld, and Ashley O'Donnell registered shots.
 
Immaculata will host DeSales on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.
