Volleyball Falls To Penn State Berks, 3-0

Box Score READING, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Penn State Berks on Tuesday night. The visiting Mighty Macs lost to the host Nittany Lions by set scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-16.
 
Freshman Rebecca McDonald was Immaculata's kill leader with four kills, while juniors Alexandra Okoro, Andrea Okoro and Brittany Thompson each posted three kills. Thompson also had nine assists and 10 digs during the match. Freshman Molly Truitt led the back row with 17 digs, and sophomore Stephanie Johler recorded 14 digs.
 
Immaculata is now 1-4 this season while Penn State Berks evened its mark to 2-2.  
 
Immaculata kicks off the 2013 home schedule on Thursday night hosting Albright at 7 p.m. inside Alumnae Hall.
