CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis (6-1, 3-0 CSAC) won their fifth straight match overall and third consecutive to start the CSAC schedule with a 5-4 triumph over Baptist Bible. The Mighty Macs continue to improve upon the best record in program history. Immaculata won two of the three doubles matches and three out of six singles matches.
In doubles, seniors
Joe Walker and
T.J. Klinger won easily 8-2 in the number two position and in the third position, seniors
Eric Schmidt and
Todd Stokley won 8-2 as well.
In singles play, Walker, Klinger, and Stokley were the winners to give them two for the day. Walker won 6-4, 6-1 in the second position while Klinger and Stokley won 6-0 and 6-2 each to lift the Mighty Macs to the win.
Men's tennis will hold Senior Day this Tuesday when they host Rosemont at 4 p.m.
