IMMACULATA, Pa.- Immaculata women's soccer (4-6-2, 3-0-2 CSAC) ran their streak to five straight games of picking up points to start their conference season as they topped Cedar Crest (2-10-0, 0-5-0 CSAC) by a score of 7-2 on Tuesday afternoon. Freshman

Carly Mirarchi (1 G, 2 A) each had four points to lead Immaculata to the highest offensive output of the season thus far.
The Mighty Macs outscored the Falcons 5-1 in the first half to take control of the game, including three goals within a 4:16 span to put the game out of reach early.
Buckley got the scoring started on an unassisted goal in the 6
th minute for the first of her IU career.
After a long period of no goals, Gannon would start a string of three Immaculata goals within five minutes to propel the Mighty Macs to a 4-0 advantage. Gannon took a cross from Mirarchi and put it in the back of the net for the eighth goal of the season, topping her previous high of seven from 2012.
Buckley then scored her second goal of the half when she took a cross from Gannon and finished inside the six just 75 seconds later.
Lamb would then score the next two goals for the Mighty Macs with one Cedar Crest goal in between for the 5-1 advantage for Immaculata at the break. It was Lamb's second two-goal effort of the season that got her to five goals on the season. Mirarchi provided her second assist on the day in Lamb's first goal and Lamb scored the second one unassisted in the 42
nd minute.

Meghan McCurnin played the first half and allowed just one goal before giving way to sophomore
Elizabeth McBride in the second half as she made four saves.
Cedar Crest would score the first goal of the second half, but Immaculata responded with sophomore
Kimesha Speller scoring the first goal of her career on a cross from Gannon inside the six-yard box in the 55
th minute to push the advantage back to 6-2.
Mirarchi netted the final goal of the day for Immaculata with just 33 seconds remaining to cap off the scoring on the day and a 7-2 Mighty Mac victory.
Immaculata hopes to make it six straight games of getting points on Saturday when they host Marywood at 3:30 p.m.
NOTES: Gannon is now seventh on the career list in points with 35 and tied for fifth with 15 goals … Her 19 points this season puts her in a tie for eighth on the single season list and her eight goals earns her ninth on the single season ledger … Mirarchi is now in a tie for 10
th on the single season list with four assists in 2013.
