GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Immaculata University ended its 2013 volleyball season with a 3-0 sweep of Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday night. The Mighty Macs claimed the victory after sets of 25-22, 25-20 and 25-18.
 
Immaculata finished the season with a 10-16 overall and 5-6 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) record after the win against Gwynedd Mercy (3-27, 2-8 CSAC). The Mighty Macs ended the conference portion of the season on a three-match winning streak.
 
Jamie Rombach had 10 kills to lead the Mighty Macs, and Andrea Okoro had seven kills and two blocks. Alexandra Okoro finished with six kills, while Marissa Casella had three total blocks, including two solo, to go along with three kills.  Brittany Thompson set up 20 of Immaculata's kills and made six digs.
 
Molly Truitt recorded a team-best seven kills. Haley Swearer made six digs and added two service aces.
