Immaculata Claims Top Two Spots At Immaculata Invitational

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Angel Chimal Rodriguez and Stash Grab claimed the top two spots as the Immaculata University men's cross country team placed second at the Immaculata Invitational hosted on the campus of Immaculata University Thursday afternoon. The Mighty Macs scored 34 points as they were narrowly edged out by Cairn University for the team title with 29 points.
 
Chimal Rodriguez cross the finish line in a time of 13 minutes, four seconds to lead all 35 runners. Grab posted a clocking of 13:26 for second place. Stu Rial and Will Martin also finished in the top 10. Rial was seventh with a time of 14:43, and Martin cross in a time of 14:58 to take 10th. Dustin Gramig clocked in with a time of 15:24 good for 14th place.
 
Kris Panos finished with a time of 16:07 and Joe Conte ran the race in 18:31 for 23rd and 27th, respectively.
 
Next up for Immaculata is the CSAC Championship on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Belmont Plateau. The race is set to get underway at 1 p.m.
