IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey dropped their non-conference finale on Thursday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium to Delaware Valley (9-5) by a score of 3-1. The Mighty Macs (5-9, 3-0 CSAC) saw their three game winning streak come to a close, but sophomore
Patsy Murphy continued her breakout offensive season with her team-high ninth goal.
Murphy got Immaculata on the board first in the opening half as she took a pass from sophomore
Lindsay Cras in the 11

However, the advantage lasted for less than a minute when Delaware Valley's Jessica Summers ripped a shot that deflected off a Mighty Mac stick and up over freshman goalie
Sarah Pasternak to tie the game 1-1.
The Aggies would take the lead in the 16
th minute on a goal from Taylor Prichett on an odd-man rush.
The Aggies would hold onto their 2-1 lead at the break as Pasternak made four saves to keep Immaculata close.
In the second half, Delaware Valley extended their lead on another goal from Prichett in the 47

Pasternak finished with 10 saves on the day.
The Mighty Macs will enter back into conference play on Saturday afternoon with a 1 p.m. contest at Marywood where IU seeks their fourth straight CSAC win.
