Field Hockey Falls To Keystone, 4-2

SCRANTON, Pa.
- Immaculata University's field hockey team fell to Keystone College, 4-2, on Saturday, Sept. 15, in Scranton, Pa.  The game was held on the campus of the University of Scranton.  It was also the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opener for both teams.

Immaculata's Natalie Rivera scored off assists from Lindsay Cras and Tiffany Lockfeld in the first half to tie the game at 1-all.

Ashley O'Donnell recorded the only goal of the second half off a penalty stroke at the 37:56 mark into the game. Trailing 4-1 at the half, O'Donnell's tally pulled the score to 4-2, but that was it for the Mighty Macs as they fall to 0-5 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

Immaculata goalkeeper Patsy Murphy made four saves.

The Giants improve to 1-4, 1-0 CSAC.

Immaculata will return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 18, when it travels to face Arcadia University. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
