Megan Dwyer's first goal of the season, the Immaculata University field hockey team suffered a 5-1 loss to Stevenson University this afternoon in the Black-Eyed Susan Tournament.

Natalie Slezak stopped three shots but gave up two scores in the second period for Immaculata.
Stevenson (2-1) took a 1-0 lead just one minute into the contest on a penalty stroke. The Mustangs scored twice more in the first half to hold a 3-0 lead over the Mighty Macs at the half.
In the second half, Dwyer's unassisted goal occurred just two minutes into the second half and cut the lead, 3-1.
Less than five minutes later, Stevenson increased the lead when Kaitlin May added her second goal of the contest. The Mustangs added an insurance tally in the final minutes, to set the final margin at 5-1.

Immaculata (0-3) continues its non-conference schedule on the road at Albright College on Thursday, Sept. 8.
