Immaculata University's field hockey team fell to host No.18 Franklin & Marshall, 8-0, Tuesday in a non-conference contest.

The Diplomats (3-0) scored just 54 seconds into the first half  and tacked on four more tallies to take a 5-0 lead at intermission. F&M extended its advantage to 6-0 by the 38:24 mark in the second half before Becky Willert amassed her second goal of the evening to increase the lead 7-0. The Diplomats rounded off the scoring at the 63:57 mark to claim the 8-0 victory.

Immaculata (1-4) was outshot 28-3 by F&M, and the Diplomats held a 19-1 advantage in penalty corners. Senior forward Emily Hallet led the Mighty Macs' offense with two shots.

Brittany Worthington started and played the first half in goal allowing five goals and making six saves. Natalie Slezak played the remainder of the match making three saves and allowing three goals.

Immaculata returns home on Thursday, Sept. 15 hosting Scranton at 7 p.m.
