IMMACULATA, Pa.- Erin Lewis led Immaculata with four goals and one assist as host Immaculata University captured a 9-0 win over Keystone in a Colonial States Athletic Conference women's soccer match at Draper Walsh Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Zena Tracey opened the scoring 12 minutes into the contest, capitalizing on a corner kick. Lewis's first tally of the contest doubled the lead in the 17th minute before making it 3-0 on her second goal of the game on a pass from
Zena Tracey.
Jen Steinke scored her first goal of the season at the 31:59 mark to close out the scoring in the first half as Immaculata held a 4-0 advantage at halftime.
Kim Steinke added her fifth goal of the season in the first minute of the second half from Lewis.
Zena Tracey found Lewis four minutes later as Immaculata increased its lead over the Giants to 6-0.
Amanda Markie had her first tally of the season, as she scored on a corner kick less than 20 minutes later.
Erin Lewis scored her fourth goal of the contest and her sixth tally of the season at 73:37 followed by
Elizabeth Archibald's first goal of the season to round out of the scoring for the Mighty Macs.
For the contest, Immaculata outshot Keystone 19-3, and led in corner kicks, 5-1.
Meghan McCurnin started for the Mighty Macs making two saves in the first half.
Dana Disney played the second half, recording one stop. Rebecca Dinelli played all 90 minutes for the Giants recording fives saves.
Immaculata is back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Centenary for a 3 p.m. match against the Cyclones.
