Field Hockey Picks Up 3-0 Win At Notre Dame

BALTIMORE, Md.-
Immaculata's field hockey squad picked up its fourth straight win as the Mighty Macs shutout host Notre Dame (Md.), 3-0, in a CSAC field hockey contest Saturday afternoon.

The Mighty Macs improve to 6- 7 overall and 3-2 in the conference while Notre Dame fell to 1-5 overall and 0-4 in the CSAC.

Tiffany Lockfeld opened the scoring just ten minutes in to the game as she was set up by Kristen Yoder and Ashley O'Donnell. Megan Dwyer  then scored an unassisted tally in the 25th minute, giving the Mighty Macs a 2-0 lead at intermission.

O'Donnell pushed one past the Gators goalkeeper from a feed from Lauren Beckley to make the final margin 3-0.

Natalie Slezak had no saves in the shutout in the cage for Immaculata. Emily Langton made 22 saves for the Gators as the Mighty Macs totaled 36 shots.

Immaculata is back in action on Thursday when the Mighty Macs host Swarthmore for a 4 p.m. non-league tilt.
