Women's Soccer Suffers 4-1 Setback To Albright

IMMACULATA, Pa.-  The Immaculata University women's soccer team suffered a 4-1 setback to visiting Albright College in a non-conference game on Tuesday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The Lions took a 1-0 advantage just 14:33 into the contest as Steph Przybyszewski took a feed from Jenna Muller and deposited it for her first goal of the contest.

The Lions scored the go-ahead goal in the 51st minute when Kim Harkins got one past Mighty Macs' goalkeeper Zabrina Gallagher followed by a third Albright goal less than five minutes later. Albright's final tally came at the 64:08 mark from Przybyszewski to seal the 4-1 victory.

Meghan McCurnin started the contest in goal for Immaculata allowing one goal while making two saves. Zabrina Gallagher began the second half for Immaculata, allowing three goals.

Immaculata returns to CSAC play on Saturday, Oct. 8 hosting Keystone at 1 p.m.
