Marywood Blanks Women's Soccer, 3-0


IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Marywood women's soccer team claimed a 3-0 shutout win against Immaculata on Saturday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium.

Lacey Habicht sparked the Pacers' offense, scoring the game's first goal in the 49th minute. Marywood doubled their lead two minutes later on a header from Siobhan Blancaflor.

Caitlin Light's tally at the 75:44 mark handed the hosts a 3-0 loss as Marywood claimed its third straight conference win.

Meghan McCurnin finished the match with five saves, and Marywood's Emily Osborne claimed two saves en route to her shutout.

The Pacers (7-7-1, 6-1-1 CSAC) held a commanding 16-3 advantage in shots and the Mighty Macs (5-6-2, 4-3-2 CSAC) held the advantage in corners, 4-3.

Immaculata hits the road on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Cabrini for a 4 p.m. contest.
