LA PLUME, Pa. – Immaculata University netted three goals in a 10-minute span during the second half to win its women's soccer Colonial States Athletic Conference opener against Keystone College, 3-0.
The Mighty Macs improve to 2-4-1 overall and 1-0 in the CSAC with the victory. Keystone drops to 2-2 overall and 0-1.
After a scoreless first half that saw the Mighty Macs out-shoot the Giants, 10-0,
Stefanie Karmondy broke through with an unassisted tally in the 55th minute.
Immaculata added another score just 2:12 later on
Samantha Colosi's unassisted goal, and the Mighty Macs capped their offensive output in the 65th minute with a goal by
Kim Steinke.

Jessica Gaburo was forced to make just one save in the shutout victory. Keystone keeper Samantha Finch recorded 11 saves.
Immaculata returns to action on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 21, hosting Neumann in a CSAC match at 6:30 p.m.
