IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata University women's soccer team was held scoreless by Haverford College on Saturday afternoon, 3-0, at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The Mighty Macs (0-3-1) kept it close in the first half, but were unable to stop a Haverford (2-1) offense that score three times in the second half.

The teams were tied 0-0 at halftime with both sides showing a strong defensive presence. However, The Fords took the 1-0 lead in the 56th minute on a goal by Katie Van Aken. Haverford added insurance as Kara McMahon scored an unassisted goal in the 62nd minute, and Elizabeth Levitan chipped in the third and final goal for the Fords.

Immaculata goalkeeper Jessica Gaburo had a strong game in net stopping 12 shots. Haverford goalie Kayleigh Herrick-Reynolds did not register a save.

Immaculata returns to the field on Monday, Sept. 13. at Lebanon Valley at 4 p.m.
