IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata University's women's soccer team was defeated by Philadelphia Biblical University, 3-2, in overtime on a cold and rainy Wednesday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium.
Immaculata is now 4-7-1 overall and 3-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference while Philadelphia Biblical improves to 3-9, 2-2 CSAC with the league win.
Bridget Cunningham scored a pair of first-half goals for the Mighty Macs, staking Immaculata to a 2-0 lead at halftime. Cunningham scored on a long pass from
Stefanie Karmondy just 7:12 into the contest, and Cunningham again found the back of the net in the 40th minute as
Kelly Marshall send the pass into the box.
Philadelphia Biblical got on the scoreboard 10 minutes into the second frame as Kathleen Meachman footed the rebound off the crossbar into the back of the goal. Just over two minutes later, Katherine Zell netted the equalizer as Katelyn Clairmont got the assist.
The squads ended regulation with 32 minutes of scoreless action, but it took the Crimson Eagles just 3:54 into the overtime to send the visitors home with the win. Meacham scored her second goal of the afternoon as she booted the ball past IU's keeper.

Jessica Gaburo made five saves, and Crimson Eagle keeper Kristen Lyszczasz made 11 saves.
Immaculata out-shot Philadelphia Biblical, 17-10, and had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
Immaculata takes to the road on Saturday traveling to Baptist Bible at 1 p.m.
